About Us

During the World Economic Forum Annual Meeting 2008, CEOs from 13 multinational corporations called on business leaders to strengthen action on workplace wellness. Since then, a core group of companies have continued to champion workplace wellness, expanding their commitment to health and well-being at work and spearheading a World Economic Forum community of thought leadership in this area.

In 2010, The Workplace Wellness Alliance (The Alliance) was launched. Today, it counts over 100 members and focuses on both metrics and knowledge sharing.

Who We Are

The Alliance is a consortium of companies committed to advancing wellness in the workplace. Initially, the Alliance will focus on knowledge sharing and developing and promoting the use of standardised metrics with the goal of achieving a global standard of wellness to enhance population health and workforce productivity.

Testimonials

"The Alliance is a breakthrough in bringing employers together to share works of excellence and, for the first time, in providing a global health baseline of common metrics. The progress achieved to date is truly admirable and members should be praised for their leadership in developing new global standards that lead to improved productivity and better health and wellbeing for all."
